The Glasgow Farm, located in historic Fredericksburg, VA, offers the classic elegance of Southern tradition within the rustic and approachable setting of a historic estate and working farm. While being close to major cities and accessible highways, the farm is quietly nestled within 10 acres along with our 1937 barn– surrounded by a collection of inviting spaces and beautiful scenery. A relaxed atmosphere with natural, organic elements The Glasgow Farm is the perfect backdrop for a wedding and other collaborative events.

The oldest building on the property was built in the mid 1800s’ as a store and post office. They outgrew it and built larger in 1900 and kept in business until the 70’s.The store upgraded with Fry Visible gas pumps in early 1920s’.The barn was built in 1937 for storage of hay, milking and feeding cows. The Glasgow’s bought the farm in 1994 and continued farming with cattle, chickens, turkeys and goats. They raised five daughters and owned a thriving multi-media design studio called Glasgow Media on the farm.
